Rostock, Überseehafen, Matrosen Zentralbild Sturm Me 9.6.60 Zur Vorbereitung der Ostseewoche vom 4. bis 10. Juli 1960 Unter dem Motto "Die Ostsee - ein meer des Friedens" vereinigen sich in jedem Jahr die friedliebenden Vertreter der Ostseeländer zu einem Fest der Freundschaft und des Friedens im Bezirk Rostock. UBz: Die "Schwerin", ein 10000 Tonnen Frachtschiff der neuen DDR-Handelsflotte, das seine Fahrt mit einer Ladung Kunstdünger nach Indonesien antrat. -Nach Beendigung der Ausbildung ist die erste Reise für den jungen Matrosen, der mit seinem Seesack im Rostocker Hafen an Bord der "Schwerin" geht, ein großes Ereignis.
