For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Schönhausen, Probe der Theatergruppe Zentralbild Weigelt 23.2.1962 "Wo gehen wir hin ?" lautet der Titel des Stückes, das vom Dorftheater Schönhausen, Kreis Havelberg, einem Dorf im Bezirk Magdeburg, gegenwärtig einstudiert wird und sich mit dem Thema "wohin geht unsere Jugend auf dem Lande" beschäftigt. Mädchen und Jungen spielen ihr eigenes Leben, ihre eigenen Fehler und Schwächen, Arbeitsbummelei und der Drang in die Stadt werden angeprangert. Das Stück wurde vom Kollektiv geschaffen und soll am 1. April seine Premiere erleben. UBz: Eine Szene aus dem Stück. Dachdeckergeselle Rainer Schulze, der 73jährige Genossenschaftsbauer Fritz Förster und Lehrerin Gudrun Brand bei der Probe.
