For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Groß-Beuchow, Roggenernte Zentralbild Schutt Nl-At. 21.7.1964 Bezirk Cottbus: LPG Groß-Beuchow begann mit der Roggenernte. Am Wochenende begann die LPG "Vorwärts" in Groß-Beuchow, Kreis Galau, die Roggenernte mit dem Mähdrescher (unser Bild). Die Genossenschaftsbauern, Traktoristen und Landarbeiter des Bezirkes Cottbus sind bei der Roggenmahd die in Anbetracht der großen Hitze an alle Beteiligten große Anforderungen stellt. Zur Monatsmitte waren über 22500 Hektar und damit rund 20 Prozent der Getreidefläche des Bezirkes gemäht.
