Zentralbild Junge 15.4.65 DDR: Zum 20. Jahrestag der Befreiung des Konzentrationslagers Ravensbrück. An der Nationalen Mahn- und Gedenkstätte Ravensbrück gedenken die Bürger der DDR und viele ausländische Gäste am 30. April dieses Jahres der 92.000 Frauen, Mütter und Kinder, die an dieser Stätte einen qualvollen Tod fanden. Hier verneigen wir uns vor den unsterblichen Helden des antifaschistischen Kampfes aus mehr als 20 Nationen, die für eine glückliche Zukunft aller Völker ihr Leben gaben. 132.000 Frauen und Kinder verschleppten die Hitlerfaschisten nach Ravensbrück, 92.000 erlebten den Tag der Befreiung nicht mehr. UBz: "Müttergruppe Ravensbrück". Plastik von Nationalpreisträger Professor Fritz Cremer.
