For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Bad Elster, Staatsbad, Brunnen der "Marienquelle"
Zentralbild Krisch 12.11.1965 Staatsbad Bad Elster In einem architektonisch schöngestalteten Souterrain befindet sich der Brunnen der "Marienquelle". Das Mineralwasser fließt in eine aus reinem Kupfer getriebene Schale. Zur Information: Im Staatsbad Bad Elster finden jährlich mehr als 26.000 Patienten Heilung, von denen etwa wie im Jahr 1964 93,5% durch die Sozialversicherung zur Kur geschickt wurden. Die großzügige Nutzung des Heilbades ist nur möglich mit umfangreichen Zuschüssen aus dem Staatshaushalt, die jährlich mehrere Millionen MDN betragen. |
