For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Eberswalde, Begutachtung einer Baumpflanzmaschine ZB-Krisch-29.4.1966-In Vorbereitung der "Woche des Waldes" vom 8. bis 14. Mai 66. In den Baumschulen des Staatlichen Forstwirtschaftsbetriebes Eberswalde (Bild: Forst Chorin) werden Fichtenstecklinge mit einer Pflanzmaschine in den Boden gebracht. Mit dieser Maschine ist es möglich, etwa 70.000 Pflanzen pro Tag zu setzen.
