Dresden, Studenten der Verkehrshochschule Zentralbild Sturm 18.10.1967 DDR: Hochschule für Verkehrswesen "Friedrich List" in Dresden Die 1952 gegründete Hochschule für Verkehrswesen in Dresden, einzige akademische Lehr- und Forschungseinrichtung ihrer Art in der DDR, bildet Fachleute für das gesamte Transport- und Nachrichtenwesen aus. Den Aufgaben des Verkehrswesen in der DDR bei der Entwicklung und Rationalisierung der Volkswirtschaft bis 1975 paßt die Hochschule schrittweise ihr Ausbildungsprogramm an. Nach einer mehrjährigen Ausbildung verlassen frische gepackende Diplom-Ingenieure für Eisenbahnbetrieb, Verkahrsmaschinentechnik, Eisenbahnsicherungs- und Fernmeldetechnik, Eisenbahnbau, Straßenbau, Straßenverkehrstechnik sowie Diplom-Ingenieurökonomen für alle Verkehrszweige die Hochschule. Im Studienjahr 1966-67 wurden insgesamt 918 Studenten, davon 550 Direktstudenten, immatrikuliert. Der Anteil der weiblichen Studierenden beträgt 10%. Auch 61 ausländische Studenten erhalten hier eine Ausbildung. Gegenwärtig studieren Studenten aus 13 Ländern. UBz: Studenten der Verkehrshochschule auf dem Wege zur Vorlesung.
