Leipzig, Universität, Zahnklinik, Labor Zentralbild Raphael 22.11.1967 Leipzig: Neues zahnärztliches Ausbildungslabor an der Karl-Marx-Universität Eines der modernsten Studentenlaboratorien der Welt für die Fachrichtung Stomatologie wurde für die Karl-Marx-Universität in der Poliklinik für prothetische Stomatologie in Leipzig eingerichtet. Hier erklärt Oberarzt Dr. Birnbaum (Mitte) den Studenten die Anfertigung von Zahnersatz. Nachdem die Studenten am Modell die nötigen Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten erworben haben, können sie auch für die Patienten Zahnersatz anfertigen. Ein großer Teil des Studiums umfasst neben diesen zahntechnischen Arbeiten auch die Ausbildung in den medizinischen Fächern wie Mund-und Kieferchirurgie und in der Anfertigung von Zahnfüllungen.
