For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Güterzüge, Stückgut Zentralbild Sindermann 22.9.1969-Schue Bez. Rostock: Rostocker Hafeneisenbahner vollbringen Spitzenleistungen-Bis zum DDR-Geburtstag wollen die Hafeneisenbahner des Rostocker Überseehafens ihren Plan zu 81 Prozent erfüllen. Seit Anfang September vollbringen die Werktätigen des modernen Hafengüterbahnhofes Spitzenleistungen beim Waggonumlauf. So wird die im August verkürzte Norm für die Waggonumlaufzeit durchschnittlich um mehr als sieben Stunden unterboten. Allein in der vergangenen Woche standen durch enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Kooperationspartnern und eine dadurch höhere Waggonauslastung zusätzlich mehr als 260 Waggons zur Verfügung. In jedem Monat durchlaufen 37000 bis 40000 Waggons den größten DDR-Seeumschlagsplatz.
