Zentralbild Katscherowski 6.1.70-kat-Berlin: Nierenzentrum der Charité- Die Dialyse-Abteilung ist das Herzstück des Nierenzentrums in der Berliner II. Medizinischen Universitätsklinik (Direktor: Prof. Dr. Lutz). Hier werden Patienten mit chronischem Nierenversagen auf eine Nierentransplantation, die im neueröffneten Nierenzentrum des Krankenhauses Friedrichshain erfolgt, vorbereitet. Die Charité verfügt zur Zeit über vier Dialyseplätze, an denen gegenwärtig acht Patienten behandelt werden. Mit dem Dialysator (Künstliche Niere) Aue II (unser Foto), der von einem Spezialkollektiv der DDR entwickelt wurde, sind sämtliche 20 Nierenzentren der DDR ausgerüstet. Patienten mit chronischen Nierenleiden, d.h. mit sehr geringer oder keiner Funktionstüchtigkeit der Niere, werden zweimal in der Woche 10 bis 12 Stunden an die Künstliche Niere angeschlossen. Diese Behandlung ermöglicht ein Leben ohne Funktion der eigenen Niere, zugleich eine weitgehende Rehabilitation bis zur Arbeitsfähigkeit. Bitte beachten Sie dazu auch unsere Fotos Nr.
