For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Rostock, Überseehafen, Linienfrachter
Zentralbild Sindermann 9.6.70-tr-Rostock: Rostocker Hafenarbeiter steigern Umschlagsleistungen. Die Rostocker Hafenarbeiter, die im Wettbewerb nach dem Titel "Betrieb der sozialistischen Arbeit" streben, wollen den Frachtumschlag von acht Millionen Tonnen im Vorjahr auf neun Millionen Tonnen Güter in diesem Jahr erhöhen. Dabei geht es vor allem darum, Rationalisierungsvorhaben schnell und mit hoher Effektivität produktionswirksam zu gestalten. Die fristgemäße Abfertigung aller Linienfrachter, die zwischen Häfen von vier Kontinenten verkehren, ist für die Rostocker Hafenarbeiter Ehrensache. |
