For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Wismar, Seehafen
"ADN-ZB Sindermann 24.6.76 Bez. Rostock: Im Seehafen Wismar, dem zweitgrößten DDR-Seeumschlagplatz gehören Frachter unter indischer Flagge zum Bild des regen Umschlagbetriebes. Hier hat der indische Massengutfrachter "VISHVA TIRTH" an der Uferbandbrücke der Kaliverladeanlage festgemacht, um rund 11.000 Tonnen Kalisalz für die indische Landwirtschaft an Bord zu nehmen. Der Kaliexport nach Indien erhöhte sich seit 1975 um rund 280 (280) Tonnen. Weitere große Mengen Kali werden schon in den nächsten Tagen die Schiffe "Indian Progreß" und "JALA GANGA" nach Indien transportieren. |
