For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Koard-28.10.1976-la-Berlin: Wie hochwertiges Quarzglas eingespart werden kann beraten hier Ursula Kuppe (l) und Edith Prinz aus der Hochdrucklampenfertigung des Berliner Glühlampenwerkes. Nach den beiden Überlegungen der beiden Neuerer kann das anfallende Bruchglas noch besser in der Produktion weiterverwendet werden. Bei den erheblich gestiegenen Weltmarktpreisen bei Quarzglas repräsentiert iht Vorschlag einen abrechenbaren volkswirtschaftlichen Nutzen. Gegenwärtig führen die Werktätigen des VEB Kombinat Narva, Berliner Glühlampenwerk, ihren zweiten Monat der Neuerer durch. Im März erreichten sie dabei eine Selbstkostensenkung von 1,5 Millionen Mark. Jetzt wurden in den ersten drei Oktoberwochen im Büro für Neuererwesen schon über 160 Neuerervorschläge - das sind fast 100 mehr als in anderen Monaten - eingereicht.
