Polenfeldzug 1939: Eines der grossen Gaswerke in der Festung Warschau geht im Feuer der deutschen Sturzkampfflieger in die Luft. Es sind 4 im Rechteck angeordnete brennende Gasbehälter zu erkennen.

English: Warsaw during World War II: Burning grain silos at intersection of Bema and Prądzyńskiego Streets. Photo often incorrectly labeled as burning gas distribution center.
Polski: Warszawa z czasów okupacji: Pożar elewatorów zbożowych przy skrzyżowaniu ulic Bema i Prądzyńskiego. Zdjecie czesto mylnie opisywane jako pożar gazowni lecz zbiorniki gazowni są około 400 metrów dalej, za miejscami z których na zdjęciu wydobywa się dym. Domyślać się można, że Niemcy mieli rozkaz zbombardowania gazowni, a zbombardowali podobne do niej, duże okrągłe budynki 400 metrów na zachód od zbiorników gazowni. Bliżej, przed miejscem pożaru na zdjęciu widać dwa istniejące do dziś (ocalałe po wyburzeniach w 1944) budynki biurowe fabryki Lilpopa, ul. Bema 65. Długa ulica na zdjęciu to Prądzyńskiego, a za torami jej przedłużenie stanowi Niemcewicza. W górnym prawym rogu widać kościół św. Jakuba na Placu Narutowicza
