I love vintage photos, specially from cities showing the "atmosphere" of years gone by, even better if I know the place and can compare how it looked and how it currently looks.

I've decided to scan some pictures from Castro-Urdiales (Cantabria), specially those containing cars and interesting buildings. These postcards came with the newspaper of the town, "La Ilustración", which if I'm right disappeared soon after.

I don't know the reasons why this truck ended up like this. Perhaps a brake failure or something similar. Not sure if it was the first vehicle to ever have an accident at this port but what I can assure is that it wasn't the last one...
