View NE, towards Lynton: ex-Lynton & Barnstaple Railway (narrow-gauge, 1'11½"), now a heritage Railway restored and reopened from 2004 - now from Barnstaple to Woody Bay and about a mile on to temporary terminus at Killington Lane. (Woody Bay station is about four miles out of Lynton town centre on the A39 just beyond Martinhoe Cross). The viaduct is west of Chelfham station and is over the Stoke Rivers Valley, a tributary of the River Yeo and was restored in 2000 |
