Summary edit

Description
English: Looking east from the basketball court into the Play Area of Chelsea Waterside Park, part of Hudson River Park, at West 24th Street and 11th Avenue near the West Side Highway in Chelsea, Manhattan. Pictured is one of the former Art Deco decorations from the demolished West Side Elevated Highway, which ran through the original Thomas F. Smith Park. The granite blocks feature wing designs and have been modified into sprinklers during the 2018 renovations. Though in practice, they look like snails.
