| Description |
English: Compass Bus SN53 ETL, a Dennis Dart SLF/Plaxton Pointer 2 MPD, in Cranleigh High Street, Surrey, on route 63. This is the Sunday service, which Compass Bus run under contract to West Sussex County Council. Arriva run the 63 from Horsham through to Guildford on Mondays to Saturdays, however on Sundays the 63 only runs as far as Cranleigh from Horsham, with connections to and from Guildford provided on route 53, run by Arriva. Compass Bus started running the Sunday service on this (and Horsham town route 98 which was part of the same contract) from 29 March 2009, taking over the contract from Metrobus. After Metrobus bought Arriva's Horsham depot in October 2009, they took over control of route 98 on Monday - Saturday, and from Sunday 23 May 2010 they started running their own commercial Sunday service on the route. Therefore, Compass now only run route 63 on Sundays, with the exception of the last journey of the day on route 98, which they continue to operate. |
