Summary edit

Description
English: Simplified diagram showing the effects of (anthropogenic) disturbance when this disturbance is added to the stress effects of natural predation. According to Frid & Dill (2002), these two types of effects are quite comparable because both induce "anti-predator" avoidance behaviors and strategies (costly in time and energy), and which can add or increase their impacts. effects by decreasing the average life expectancy of the animals that fall victim to it, to the detriment of their population, which may decline if the disturbance lasts or repeats.
