  • Significance: The Hayman Cottage is a rare example of the Gothic Revival still extant in Santa Barbara. Likely one of a number of similar speculative cottages built in Santa Barbara in the 1880s it was determined eligible for the National Register on May 9, 1978 under Criterion C.
