Description
English: Eastbound Montauk Point State Parkway (New York State Route 27) as it approaches a sign directing tourists to the upcoming Montauk Point East Overlook on the western edge of Camp Hero State Park in Montauk, New York. The sign which tells motorists that the overlook is 1000 feet ahead is almost as old as the overlook itself. In fact, it was around long before Camp Hero State Park was even established as undeveloped parkland.
