Brooks House was determined eligible for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 at the local level: significant under criterion A for its association with and contribution to the development and character of both North Park and the greater North Park neighborhood; under criterion B for its association with prominent Fresno businessman Ira H. Brooks; and under criterion C for its embodiment of the strong representative characteristics of the early Arts and Crafts movement as a primary example of the Craftsman/Dutch Colonial Revival design.
