Notes
  • Significance: This is the finest surviving ante-bellum house in Milwaukee and ranks among the city's outstanding Neo-classical buildings. The extensive modifications carried out during the 1890's are in complete harmony with the earlier fabric, and the composition is one of exceptional dignity and elegance. On both exterior and interior, the house has been meticulously maintained.
