Français : Vue de l'Embrienne, Vallée de l'Embrienne (dans les Sept Vallées dans le département du Pas-de-Calais, en Région Hauts-de-France, le 10 aout 2017 (première quinzaine du mois inhabituellement pluvieuse dans la région). Le fond de la rivière là où il n'est pas envasé est tapissé de morceaux de "rognons de silex" et localement divers déchets (béton, morceaux de briques érodés). A l'été 2017, certains segments de la première moitié de ce cours d'eau présentent des indices de pollution (tapis et filasses bactériennes, absence de plantes aquatiques, faible nombre d'invertébrés) et d'autres semblent très propres (mais avec peu de poissons et peu d'organismes animaux visibles). Remarque : Localement ce qui semble être des colonies bactériennes de Nostoc subaquatique de grande taille (jusqu'à plus de 10 cm) sont visibles (assemblages de cyanobactéries dotées de capacités photosynthétique) ; peut -être Nostoc verrucosum ?
English: View of the "Embrienne river" in the "Embrienne valley", in the department "Pas-de-Calais", (Hauts-de-France region in northern France), in the "Seven Valleys". Photo made on the 10th of August 2017 (after two weeks unusually rainy for the region). The bottom of the river - where it is not silted up - is lined with pieces flint. Some segments of the first half of this watercourse shows pollution indices (bacteerial carpets and bacterial filtrates, lack of aquatic plants, low number of invertebrates) and others parts appear to be very clean (but with few fish and few visible animal organisms). Note: Locally, what appears to be large (up to 10 cm) subaquatic Nostoc bacterial colonies are visible (assemblages of cyanobacteria with photosynthetic capabilities) ; perhaps Nostoc verrucosum ?
