English: Entrance to the West Dining-Hall (Greenwich Hospital)

Pensioners going down for dinner into the dining hall under the Painted Hall. One is a black veteran with grizzled white hair and two carry jugs to bring away tea or another drink. From the Illustrated London News, 25 March 1865, p. 281; for further details see PAI8788. It is mounted on a sheet with PAI8782-PAI8786 and PAI8788-PAI8791.
