"It Gets You Going". Unique rag by Canadian Dan Goldsmith, co-authored by his Denver, Colorado publisher Robert D. Sharp in 1909, the first of the three that he wrote. Goldsmith was from Winnipeg, Manitoba, a city colder than any city in the United States outside of Alaska. Perhaps that explains the energetic nature of this composition, perhaps they're just trying to get warm!
