Deutsch: Diese Dokumente zeichnen die Geschichte meines Urgroßvaters vor und während des Ersten Weltkrieges nach. Das Führungszeugnis bescheinigt ihm den zweijährigen Militärdienst im Metzer Infanterieregiment Nr. 98, die beiden Fotos in Uniform (einmal koloriert, einmal schwarz-weiss) zeigen ihn in der Uniform dieses Regiments. Das Lazarettfoto wurde von meinem Urgroßvater als Feldpost aus einem Lazarett in Frankfurt / Main an die Lieben daheim versendet. Mein Urgroßvater war zu dieser Zeit Unteroffizier des Inftanterieregimentes 9/56, 14. Division, VII M.K. Der Lazarettalltag wird von ihm als langweilig beschrieben, von Verletzungen oder Kriegsgeschehnissen ist keine Rede.
