Description
Français : Georges Desmet est né à Meulan (Yvelines) le 9 décembre 1890. En 1914, il habite Montgeron et exerce la profession de couvreur. Il a été mobilisé du 3 aout 1914 au 9 aout 1919. Il a fait partie du 131e Régiment d'Infanterie où il était clairon. Il a obtenu la croix de guerre avec 5 étoiles de bronze et a éte cité 7 fois à l'ordre de sa dvision ou de son régiment. C'est sa petite fille qui nous a amené des photos, son livret militaire et une de ses citations.
