Description
English: 2010 Eureka earthquake damage to the historical cemetery at Ferndale, California. Obelisks, monuments and retaining walls were damaged; the directions of throw and fall were measured by Humboldt State University to compare with 1906 damage records from the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake at the same cemetery. The "GAR" marker records a northern Civil War Veteran and stands for "Grand Army of the Republic."
