Description

This file was uploaded with Commonist.
English: First Berkshire & The Thames Valley DME43916 (LK55 ADZ), a Dennis Dart SLF/East Lancs Myllennium, in Bracknell bus station, Bracknell, Berkshire, in Ride Pegasus livery for a school bus scheme around Guildford, Surrey. First ran the Ride Pegasus school buses under contract to Surrey County Council, from an outstation in Merrow, Guildford. The outstation did not have full maintenance facilities, so buses had to visit First Berkshire's depot in Bracknell every so often, hence DME43916 is seen in Bracknell here. There were 22 Ride Pegasus buses in total. Surrey CC stopped the scheme in July 2010 as it cost too much to run, and so the 22 buses were loaned to other bus companies for use on normal routes. This bus is now with Southdown PSV as seen here: File:Southdown PSV 113 LK55 ADZ.JPG. On the left of this photo (the white bus with the purple branding), is the rear of Courtney Coaches YJ05 XMT, an Optare Solo, which can be seen at File:Courtney Coaches YJ05 XMT.JPG.
