Description
English: Standard IND mosaics along the Washington Heights-bound platform of the Franklin Avenue IND Fulton Street Line section within the Franklin Avenue-Fulton Street New York City Subway station complex in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York City, with a contemporary Helvetica sticker above it saying "Respect." I'm going to go out on a limb and take a guess that this sticker was to cover some graffiti from 2018 honoring the late Aretha Franklin during her dying days. Sort of a way for the MTA to say "we don't tolerate vandalism, but we know how you feel."
UPDATE: MAY 7, 2019: Two news reports from Billboard Magazine and WPIX-TV (Channel 11) confirm this action.
