English: Train from Hereford at Gloucester (Central). View northward, from main Platform 1 to the Up Main platform, which was used only for trains from South Wales and Hereford; the Chalford auto-trains (withdrawn 2/11/64) used the bay platform beyond/right. the Through roads between were busy with freight to/from South Wales). The service to Hereford, via Grange Court and Ross-on-Wye, ceased from 2/11/64 (goods 1/11/65). The 09.50 from Herefod here has Churchward 2-6-0 No. 6335 (built 5/21, withdrawn 7/63). |
