English: Site of Guyhirne station, 1995. View northward, on the A141 towards Spalding and approaching the junction with the A47. Just ahead on the right is the remains of the substantial brick viaduct which until closed 28/11/82 carried the March (to right) - (to left) Spalding section of the ex-GN&GE Joint main line to Doncaster via Sleaford and Lincoln. The station was on the left, by the 'Fisherman's Haunt'; it closed to passengers 5/10/53, to goods 5/10/64. |
