| Description |
This is an interesting coach. HBZ4674 (Formerly F698 PAY) is a 1988 / 1989 Dennis Javelin with a less common bodywork, a Duple 320. Duple Coachbuilders became defunct in 1989 so this model would be amongst the last produced by them. The coach was formerly operated by Tate's Travel of Darton, along with another Duple, LIL9974 (F631SAY) which also passed to Damory Coaches, who it is seen operating with today. Also it was in Day's Coaches around the year 2000. The bus has quite a functional, late 80's look to it with straight lines all over. It is in a white livery with Damory logos, rather than going into the blue livery of many Damory/ Tourist Coaches. It is seen here operating a school service in Gillingham. I'm not sure if this coach is still used by Damory on public services, given its age and the many other newer coaches Damory runs. Monday 25th March 2013. |
