HERSTELBETALING DOOR DUITSLAND; Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 52 uit 1947.; Duitsland levert (gedwongen) aan Nederland Duitse goederen bij wijze van herstelbetaling. Uit het havengebied van Hamburg is oa een hijskraan toegewezen. Daarnaast komen uit Duitsland ook uit Nederland gestolen spullen terug. SHOTS: - het totaal verwoeste havengebied van Hamburg; temidden van de verbogen spanten en resten van haveninstallaties staat nog één gave hijskraan overeind (het voor Nederland bestemde exemplaar); - een reusachtige draaibank wordt naderbij gereden over spoorrails; in de haven wordt hij in onderdelen uiteengenomen en worden de delen mbv een drijvende bok aan boord van een landingsvaartuig van de Koninklijke Marine gehesen dat de boel naar Nederland zal vervoeren; - in Duitsland opgespoorde Nederlandse rijnaken en andere kleinere schepen worden door de bezettingsautoriteiten vrijgegeven; de schippers hijsen de Nederlandse vlag en beginnen aan de terugreis.
