Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.; Nieuwe brug over de IJssel bij Zwolle ipv oude Baileybrug, die de Canadezen bij de bevrijding in 1945 bouwden. SHOTS: - de smalle oude Baileybrug (de langste Baileybrug in Europa) met alleen eenrichtingsverkeer, met als gevolg lange rijen auto's aan beide kanten van de oeververbinding; - de minister van Verkeer ir. H. Vos verricht de officiële opening van de nieuwe verkeersbrug door een lint door te knippen. Na deze plechtigheid rijdt een stoet van vrachtauto's over de nieuwe brug. Fietsers en voetgangers rijden over de zijwegen.
