  • Significance: Glendale is a southern colonial Creole plantation located on River Road in Lucy, LA, St. John the Baptist Parish. It has been a working plantation since 1805 and was bought by the Lanaux family in 1922, at which time it was restored. Today it is used for the harvesting of sugar cane.
