Description
English: The oval-shaped turf athletic field at the north end of Hunter's Point South Park, on the East River at Center Boulevard and Borden Avenue in Hunters Point, Long Island City, Queens. Interestingly the 2009 planning documents show this area as a full grass field, which could in theory hold proper football and soccer games. However, the final product is a small crescent-shaped leisure lawn, and the chaotic turf field too small to facilitate a proper game.
