Notes
  • Significance: Building T-1088 is a Hospital Barracks, Type HB-54, with accommodations for 54 enlisted men. According to the 1942 Annual Report to the Surgeon General, there were 621 enlisted personnel at the hospital; however only ten HB-54s were constructed in September, 1942, with a designed capacity total of 540 soldiers. Two possible explanations are that either more than 54 men were housed in each of these barracks, or the excess personnel were accommodated elsewhere on the post.
