Description
English: Jay Millers Circus, off Racecourse Roundabout, Isle of Wight. Racecourse Roundabout is situated at the end of Whippingham Road from East Cowes, Lushington Hill from Wootton, and Racecourse from Newport (which starts as Fairlee Road, changes to North Fairlee Road and then to Racecourse. It is where the road from East Cowes meets the main Newport-Ryde road. In this photo, the circus had been set up, but had not opened yet. The photo was taken from a Southern Vectis bus on route 9, as it neared the end of Racecourse, about to negotiate the roundabout.
