Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.; Naar een ontwerp van de schilder Jaap Min(?) worden door de inwoners van Bergen beelden gemaakt voor een Kerststal in de RK-Kerk. SHOTS: - Min schetst in zijn atelier het ontwerp; - de smid vervaardigt uit dik ijzerdraad, aan de hand van het ontwerp, in de smederij de metalen geraamtes van de beelden; - anderen boetseren in de huiskamer van klei de koppen en andere onderdelen en leggen de gereedgekomen produkten te drogen achter de kolenkachel; - met de gedroogde onderdelen worden de metalen geraamtes "aangekleed"; - in een huiskamer zit een gezelschap dames te naaien, te spelden ed aan de kleding van de poppen en kleedt de poppen aan; - int. kerk: man komt aanlopen bij de communiebank bij het priesterkoor en overhandigt een beeld aan een andere man die bezig is de Kerststal op te bouwen; - div. details van de gereed zijnde Kerststal.
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.; The inhabitants of Bergen are creating statues for the Christmas crib in the R.C. Church after a design by artist Jaap Min(?). SHOTS: - Min sketches the design in his studio; - based on the designs, the smith forges the metal framework of the statues from thick wire in the smithy; - others model the heads and other parts out of clay in their living room and lay the finished prodcuts to dry behind the coal stove; - the metal frameworks are "dressed" with the dried parts; - a company of ladies are sewing and pinning the dresses for the dolls and dress the dolls up; - int. church: man walks towards the communion rail near the sanctuary and hands the statue to another man who is constructing the crib; - several details of the finished crib. |
