Summary edit

Description
English: The entrance to Kissena Park at the southeast corner of Kissena Boulevard and Rose Avenue in Murray Hill / East Flushing, Queens. This was the location of the short-lived Kissena station of the Central Railroad of Long Island or the Stewart Railroad in the 1870s. The horizontal strips of paving stones represent railroad tracks and follow the former right-of-way east into the park. The fences, meanwhile, feature metal reliefs of trains.
