| Description |
English: A bus stop in Redding Way, Knaphill, Surrey, outside the Vyne Health Centre, which the bus stop is named after. It is seen on 29 August 2009. From 1 September 2009, route 28 was cut to only operate between Guildford and Knaphill Sainsbury's, rather than continuing to Woking via Goldsworth Park and Horsell as it had done previously. The affected bus stops were updated a couple of days early, and comparing this photo with File:Knaphill The Vyne Health Centre bus stop.JPG illustrates that the "e-plate" for the 28 on the bus stop flag had been blanked over, as the route no longer served this stop (except for one school journey, but these are not shown on Surrey CC bus stops). However, after a year's gap, as part of Phase 1 of Surrey County Council's Bus Review, route 28 was extended back to Woking from August 2010, and this stop had 28 e-plates put back on. |
