De godsman profeteert en kondigt het wonder aan dat het altaar zal splijten en de as op de grond zal vallen. De uitgestrekte arm van Jerobeam verstijft als hij de opdracht geeft de godsman gevangen te nemen. Links op de achtergrond is het einde van de godsman verbeeld. De godsman wordt gedood door een leeuw en van zijn ezel getrokken. Onder de voorstelling een verwijzing in het Latijn naar de Bijbeltekst in 1 Kon. 13:1. Deze prent maakt deel uit van een album.
