Summary edit

Description
English: Looking at the historic Lewis H. Latimer House at the south end of Leavitt Park (Leavitt Field), at Leavitt Street and 137th Street in Flushing, Queens. Owned by inventor Lewis Howard Latimer, the house was originally located at Holly Avenue and Kissena Boulevard near Kissena Corridor Park West, but was preserved and relocated to the south end of Leavitt Park in 1988. In its current restored state, it is quite colorful.
