English: Lenticular cloud (specifically stratocumulus lenticularis) over the Cerro de Chipinque mountain in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, México. This mountain forms part of the Sierra Madre Oriental mountains, this picture was taken during the arrival of a cold front, apparently Foehn winds make sc lent a regular shape, the day aftee this picture was taken there was an 8 degree difference, at this time, the maximum temperature was of 17°C, and minimum temp was of 7°C, however, the day after, the temperature was 25°C, and the minimum temp was 9°C |
