Description
English: Standard MTA Subway Helvetica Sign at the westbound side of the crossover directing commuters to the staircases at the Liberty Avenue Subway station on the IND Fulton Street Line in the New Lots neighborhood of the East New York section of Brooklyn, New York City. The sign is above some directional tiles installed in the days before the MTA existed, let alone adopted Helvetica signage. Both staircases go to the platform leading to both Brooklyn Borough Hall and Manhattan on the IND Eighth Avenue Line. trains lead to 168th Street Subway station complex in the Washington Heights, section of Upper Manhattan, but from there commuters can take an train to the 207th Street Terminal in the Inwood section of Upper Manhattan.
