Description
English: Looking at the northern end of Gerritsen Greek or Gerritsen Inlet in the southern section of Marine Park, at Avenue U and approximately East 31st Street in Marine Park / Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn. Flowing south into Jamaica Bay, the creek once originated farther north past Kings Highway. In typical New York City fashion, its origin waters now flow in a storm sewer before daylighting at this location.
