English: Northern Pintail Anas acuta males and a Northern Shoveler Spatula clypeata female in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
Français : Anas acuta et Spatula clypeata femelle à Kolkata (West Bengal, Inde). En raison d'une chasse plus intensive rapportée au nombre d'hectares de zones humides et d'une interdiction du plomb de chasse beaucoup plus tardive dans les zones humides, la prévalence de l'ingestion de plomb, et le saturnisme des oiseaux d'eau sont beaucoup plus fréquent en Europe. En raison de son comportement alimentaire, cette espèce est l'une des plus touchées par le saturnisme (acquis via l'ingestion de plombs de chasse, confondu avec le grit.
