  • Dansk: Maleriet blev ca. 1855 bestilt af rektor Martin Hammerich til dennes hjem på Borgerdydskolen på Christianshavn; i 1865 tog Hammerich maleriet med sig, da han flyttede til Iselingen. I dennes familie, indtil kaptajn Svend Hammerich solgte maleriet til museet 5. juli 1951.
